TransmittersZonge manufactures a complete series of transmitters with power ratings ranging from milliwatts to 10's of kilowatts, and output currents ranging from 1uA to 45A.
Note: move your mouse over an image to display a MEDIUM size version, Motor Generator TransmittersAll transmitters can transmit either frequency domain (100% duty cycle) or time domain (50% duty cycle) waveforms. These transmitters are suitable for surveys ranging from laboratory-scale (like core samples) to deep mining, geothermal, or petroleum exploration.
GGT-3
GGT-10
GGT-30 NanoTEM TransmittersWhen equipped with optional NanoTEM analog acquisition cards, the GDP-32II can measure TEM transients at time delays as short as ~1 us after current shutoff. When used together with fast shut off TEM transmitter, these early time TEM measurements provide information about the subsurface for depths less than 100m. The NT-20 is a dual mode TEM transmitter. When operating in its slow turnoff mode (ZeroTEM) it can supply up to 20A into larger loops.
NT-20
NT-32 ZeroTEM TransmitterOperating from a DC power source, the ZeroTEM (ZT-30) transmitter can switch currents as high as 30A into inductive or resistive loads. Two or more 12Vdc automotive batteries connected in series provide DC power when the ZT-30 is used as a TEM transmitter. The ZT-30 is also being used as a low power resistivity/IP transmitters for applications where precision current regulation is not required or when the current waveform can be directly measured. The ZT-30 transmitter is small and easily transportable by one person. It is most appropriate for use in TEM surveys where the targets of interest are at depths that are less than 500m.
ZT-30 Laboratory and Downhole TransmitterThe LDT-10 operates with 12 Vdc power and, depending on the load resistance, can provide precision current-regulated frequency- or time-domain waveforms with amplitudes ranging from 1 µA to 10mA. The transmitter is ideal for resistivity/IP measurements on field samples and drill core, and for use in connection with shallow drill hole logging. Output: ~12 volts max, 0.1 microamperes to 10 milliamperes. Includes one external power cable, one control cable, three 24" black and three 24" red connecting cables, and operating manual. See also the LAB/2 Laboratory Electrodes, for use with LDT-10. Designed to provide a non-polarizing contact for resistivity and IP measurements of rock samples in the laboratory.
LDT-10 Transmitter ControllersThe XMT-32 Transmitter controller produces timing signals for controlling all of the Zonge International GGT, ZT, and NT transmitters. Provision is made for synchronizing multiple controllers and GDP receivers. Frequency control can be accomplished either manually or by a time sequence program which is loaded through the RS-232C port. Parts and service facilities are available.
